Programs in the Library
Passages Academy Libraries are committed to bringing the highest quality school library programming to our school community. Programs range from book clubs and craft activities to community partner-based visits and activities, to our well-loved Authors and Artists series. We are always looking for new ideas and new collaborations to engage. To suggest your idea for the next best thing in school library programming, contact your site's librarian.

Arts in the Library
Passages students create inspiring bookmarks.
We have enjoyed an especially fruitful and dynamic partnership with our Arts colleagues for many years. We often co-host library/arts programs with the Museum of Modern Art and, in the past, The New Victory Theater. In addition to the arts-based programming they provide to our students, the Passages Academy Libraries team endeavors to offer programs that use arts and crafts to enrich the reading experience a few times each school year.
Public Library Programs
Located in New York City, we are fortunate enough to have three excellent public library systems to work with. We partner with New York Public Library, Brooklyn Public Library, and Queens Public Library to offer a wide variety of programs and services to our students, including: book talks and readers' advisory, database training, job readiness workshops, library card sign-ups, field trips and book circulation.
